July 30, 1956, In God We Trust was written into law as America’s national motto – help us blitz the nation with this message. This is the perfect opportunity to remind America where our hope comes from!
In God We Trust has been referenced by our Presidents, written on our money for centuries, and is in the fourth verse of our national anthem. God is acknowledged in our Pledge of Allegiance, and has been the source of America’s hope since inception.
Furthermore, the U.S. House of Representatives voted overwhelmingly 396 to 9 to reaffirm ‘In God We Trust’ as the official motto of the United States. The landslide vote sends a message that ‘In God We Trust’ is not only written in the halls of our federal buildings, but it is a bedrock upon which our nation is built.
Congress has done their job, now we must do ours! The Resolution encourages the public display of our national motto in every public classroom and government buildings.
Now, it is up to us to see God restored to His rightful place in American culture!
